some self-wound humbucker ideas...

I came up with a few...your thoughts?

1. A Custom underwound to 10k for my bridge

2. A Custom underwound to 7.5k - 8k for my neck (like having a Custom set)

3. potted, black open-coil, 4-conductor Seth wound to 10k

Who else has some ideas? Needless to say I'm a smidge excited about User Day. :dance:

As I mentioned in another thread, I'd love to see a Quarter Pound with an additional tap at the 75% point.

Also, a set of Antiquity humbuckers, not aged. I had enough hand-me-downs growing up. I want my s**t to look new. :laugh2:

One thing to keep in mind, the EQ you get from the Custom (or any pickup for that matter) is due in part to the way it's wound. If you wind it less hot, you may end up with something that sounds much different than the original.
