Some surf music with my plexi and a split JB

Re: Some surf music with my plexi and a split JB

Thanks Rid! I just noticed that there's a surf jam further down the page! I completely missed that LOL! This track was actually done for a video project that I'm working on ... so it was purely a coincendence.

I forgot to mention that I've got some terrific sounding Duncan Antiquitys in the neck and middle position of my guitar but I completely forgot to use them because I was in such a rush!!

I love it! I like the tone a lot on this one. A little bit cruchy! I've been liking surf music a lot lately so this hits the sopt...

Thanks guys! I'm a sucker for surf music too :D

I realized I was using too much gain about half way into the project ... and it was too late to do over because of the deadline I had.

Sounds great . . . makes me want to break out some old Ventures records. :laugh2:

Very cool, I feel like I am hanging with Vincent Vega in Pulp. Very nice tone.

That's a great vintage sound. I recognise 'Walk don't run' but can't remember the name of the last one. 1960 - before your time isn't it? It's one of the first tracks I can remember.

Awesome, but to be really anal and picky: the tone could have been a good bit cleaner, a bit more spring reverb, and what about some vibrato shimmer "shadows style"? That would really add the icing on the cake ;)

Again, awesome stuff ;)
