hey guys,

remember when Gomano offered up a "SD message board bros jam" for us all to contribute a little bit to his project? ... well, i was cleaning out my hard drive and decided to put my two parts on soundclick ...

the solo section was a touch of "Big 80's" riffage and the chorus was me harmonizing with myself on a "rock anthem" melodic theme ...

yeah, "short" indeed ... we all had like 8 bars each to "get it done" for the solo ... i ended up having to compose my part in order to make a cogent statement over the changes and end up on time .. when i tried to wing it, it sounded kinda 'meandering' ... without a beginning, middle, and end ...

anyone else still have their licks from that tune? ... would love to hear 'em

Nice chops man!

The only comment i'd have is your guitar is a little loud on "my solo" but the playing is great and fits the track perfectly

.... yeah, the only 'mix' i did was for purposes of telling Gomano where to fly my 'raw' track in the composite ... it was not intended as a representative mix ... i think that both clips are actually more than a little 'hot' ... but i was sure that the engineer could fly in my part and mix it appropriately
