try a 1meg pot with the FS; if that's not cutting enough, get a demon.

what guitar, and are mods an option? i'm curious as to how a dimebucker would sound with A5 or A8

It's a modified Gibson Les Paul Axcess w/custom floyd rose... It came with burstbuckers 1/2 which were removed within the first hours of owning the guitar... FYI, the bridge bucker was not even floyd spaced.

Although one of my favorites, I didn't like the jazz/jb combo in this particular guitar, the jb seemed muddy, so I put full shred neck and bridge in it and am very happy with it, just was hoping to get a little more edge from the bridge pup. I have no plans to change the neck, the FS in there is awesome!

ok; i'd try a ceramic (or A8 if you have one) mag in your FS first, followed by various combinations of fillister/hex-head screws in the FS.
i love the demon but it may not be the ticket here, if you like the FS and just want more juice out of it.

remember the FS is basically a custom 5 with 2 screw coils, so putting a ceramic in one makes it an SH-5 with 2 screw coils
