Is it just me or is it odd that is has two types of control knobs?...messing with my OCD lol

There has been little talk of this one..

I wouldn't mind picking one up and overhauling the plastics and wiring. Great color, and they have big necks.

All his sig models have this.. think I read where he does it so he can tell the diff on the fly of bridge vs neck..

That's the kind of Peter Green/Gary Moore look, isn't it?

Hmm...I think all of the Gary Moores I've seen must've had the knobs replaced or its only on certain signature models.

All his sig models have this.. think I read where he does it so he can tell the diff on the fly of bridge vs neck..

That is very interesting...never thought of that before but I rarely use my tone knobs and I haven't used a Les Paul in a quite some time.

I personally would change the knobs, but thats just me lol Betcha its a great guitar though!

I play with the tone knobs a lot too, and I can tell you that when you go to roll off the tone and hit the volume, it's annoying. I'd switch the knobs and have the volume knobs be the same and the tone knobs be the same.

I bet it is annoying hitting the volume instead of tone...time to fake an intentional volume swell if during a live gig ;)
