I'm swapping out some humbackers on a friends LesPaul. The bridge PUP (JB) had an extra magnet stuck to the bottom plate. Would a bad marryjuana habit explain this or does this have some mojo effect?

Depending on how much of the magnetic field actually made it through the metal plate, it might have the affect of bumping the magnet strength up one level. Which would bring the JB a bit closer to Duncan Distortion territory.

I think there was a thread about this about a year ago. I don't remember anything content wise, though.
