Something Wrong With my 535Q

I
I'm sure something is wrong with the pedal and I am hoping it is an easy fix.

In all setting with the Q, Range Selector and Volume boost, I experience intermittent volume loss when the pedal is in the "Up" position. It doesn't happen all the time. When it works, I love it. But sometimes it just....dies I guess is the best word. The switch doesn't quite click well either.

Any thoughts on the cause or possible fix? I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron and if its simple I'm sure I could fix it myself.

Thanks,
Jeff

Pots generally get extremely scratchy sounding if they're worn out. They don't cause a loss in volume unless they're damaged, which would be caused by something more than just normal use.

When you say "up" do you mean heel back or toe forward?

How is the pedal powered?

Do you have other pedals in your chain?

Thanks guys. It is with heel back. I power it with a Voodoo Labs Pedal power and it is the first pedal in my chain. I've tried other cables, having it the only pedal, etc. and the same thing happens.
