Sounding like System Of A Down

Hey everyone,

I would just like to know what type of Seymour Duncan pickups would give me a similar sound to System Of A Down ''Toxicity'' album. I have the tuning and everything, I just need the correct pickups.

Just a word of warning - the Pearly Gates pickup is not a high-output pickup, and will probably be less powerful than the pickups you currently have in your iceman.
That is of course not a bad thing in itself (I personally definitely prefer lower-medium output pickups) but it may surprise you a little when you get them fitted.

wasnt there a crap old 80s transistor amp he said was the single biggest part of his tone somewhere? agreed, with the PG in an iceman you're definitely close, but he layers his guitar parts loads of times on recording..
