SP90-2 or SP90-3 for bridge for doom/stoner/psychedelic/garage/

I am deciding between the Hot P90 Soapbar (SP90-2) and the Custom P90 Soapbar (SP90-3). I want a vintage sound, high sustain, and heaviness. Everyone is going to laugh but I am putting this P90 on a Classic Series Jaguar Special. I love the special designed hot single coils both the neck and bridge. I like surf music and the neck is fantastic for that and other stuff. I like the brightness of the low strings that i can get. And the bridge is awesome for blues, psychedelic, garage, ect. Great tones. I am friends with a luthier and he modifies guitars. He is going to put a p90 of my choice right above the bridge pickup. And put a three-way switch in. I want this pickup for heavy doom, punk, thrash and death metal, garage, psychedelic, and punk. Please help. :)

- thanks

neither of those is all that much of a vintage p90 sound but both sound really good. the hot is a little rounder in the mids vs the custom

I like to have the SP90-3n Custom in the bridge position.

With high gain amplification, P-90 on a Jaguar is going to make some fabulous Neil Young / Sonic Youth noises. :approve:
