Speaker advice again

howdy,

i use an eminence the governour in my 112 cab since two months.
i recognized, that the speaker in the combo (vintage 30) is slightly
somhow more hifi sounding, to be more specific i miss the detailed highs.

the vintage 30 reproduces more detailed highs compared to the gov.

is there an eminence speaker with a nearly similar voice, but slightly
more highs without biting too much?

alternatively a suggestion for a speaker, that i can pair with the
gov to reach the goal would be helful.

i also thought of if the the construction could make this difference?
i use a 22mm front baffle of reinforced mfd. despite this, the cab is built
very very light.

Check the Mojotone British Vintage series out. Mojo Musical Supply offers them and I believe they are made by Eminence for Mojotone. Great clones of the original celestion speakers and much lower cost.

interesting - looking at the response diag, i wouldn't think of that. but that's why eminence
built that funny sound selection chart i think.
