Speaker connection help please

I ordered a Blackheart Killer Ant and want to test it before thinking about a speaker cabinet. I have an older Kustom amp that has a nice 10" Celestion in it, but no input for utilizing the speaker. Can I simply add a plug and a set of wires with spade connectors and connect it when I want to use the speaker, or can I tap into the existing wire to drive the speaker? Hope this makes sense!

You should disconnect the speaker completely from the Kustom, then you can safely connect it to the Killer Ant as long as the impedance of the Killer Ant matches that of the speaker.
