speaker issues?

I have a modded JCM 800 single combo. The last few weeks or so I noticed my speaker rattling more when I hit a palm mute or are chugging along. Is it my speaker? My bass is only set on 4 and the bottom end knob (mod) is less than half way.

Before you do anything else,try tightening all of your cabinet screws and your screws that fasten the speakers to the cabinet...

If I do need a speaker what do I get? The speaker i have now is a celestian gm12-70.
I want an 80's metal tone. The speaker i have in there now sounds a little thin and bright. I know a lot of people changed out this speaker when this amp came out.

I'd go with a Governor or Wizard from the new Eminence line. If you want to stick with Celestion, G12h30 would be my first choice and maybe a V30 (guys have really mixed opinions on this).
