Speaker Ohm Question.

I've got two SF Vibrochamps, Both of which call for a 3.2ohm speaker. Now Theres a bunch of companys that make 8" (and 10" for the modded VC) speakers I wouldn't mind trying out, But hardly anyone seems to make 3.2Ohm speakers. Finding 4ohm speakers is much easier though.

So my question is, Would putting a 4ohm speaker into an amp that calls for a 3.2Ohm speaker be a bad idea? It doesn't seem like to much of a miss match ( 0.8 ohms) but, being as I really don't know to much about this, I figured I better ask. Also I know that the champs tended to not have as sturdy trannys as most other amps, so that might make some difference too?

4 ohms will work just fine. Contact Ted Weber at Weber VST. He makes the best sounding 8" and 10" speakers around, IMO.
