Speaker recommendation for Peavey Backstage Plus

I would like to replace the 10" speaker in my Backstage Plus with a good quality one, what do you guys recommend as a replacement?

On the back sticker of the amp it says that it is a 35W amp at 8ohm, but I don't know if it means the wattage of the amp itself or the speaker?

If the amp is 35W, then the speaker must be around 50W unless guitar speakers are made under different principles.

I called Peavey for specs on the speaker, but they are not willing to give out any information except the Peavey part number.

I plan to use it as a practice amp.

The Eminence Rajin Cajun might be a good choice. Also check out Weber's site. He has some economy speakers for sale in the 10" variety.

Yep...the Ragin Cajun from Eminence. If you want to go with a Weber, I like the one he used to call his C10Q alot! It has a differant model number now, but it's a great speaker...similar to a '66 Jensen C10N...my favorite ceramic 10" speaker ever made. Lew

If you would have to pick between Eminence and Jensen, which one would you pick and why?

P.s.: I am talking about reasons like sound quality, and longevity rather than price.
