Speaker repairs

I bought this 5150 combo used, with one of the speakers busted. with the previous owner, something fell through the grill and through the speaker, and now it is repaired with epoxy. I ordered a replacement speaker (Sheffield Pro 1200 Low Frequency Driver) from www.8thstreet.com on Aug 16th. they're backordered, and so is peavey. so i'm gonna have to get a celestion or something, i'm assuming.

could anybody tell me how much it is affecting my tone?

Get a couple of Celestion Vintage 30's. and yeah, that rip isn't helping your tone any.

60w combo right? i might try a g12h-30, a v30 is a good choice as well but i think the g12h has a little more bottom end

Yeah! 60 watts. hmm yeah i think these amps are built for low end. I'll check out those G12h-30's! thanks!
