Speaker replacement for Gibson GA5T

I need advice from someone who has replaced a 10" speaker in an old low powered amp such as this 1962 Gibson GA5-T Skylark. I'm considering a "broken in" WGS 15 watt. Not looking to spend a fortune...I mean, the wife is losing interest in my high ticket music gear needs.:blackeye:

wgs makes decent speakers and if the price is right then go for it. i like weber alnico 10's but they arent inexpensive

WGS Veteran 10? Haven't heard one but they were getting great reviews when they came out. It's not much risk financially. Even less so if it's used. Of course, I'm assuming it's the Veteran 10 ...
