Speaker Replacement for Marshall DSL40c

I'm looking to upgrade the stock 70/80 in the dsl40c. I want full but tight low ends with plenty of mids to cut through. The stock 70/80 is just too loose for the lows and the mids just sound too brittle and forced. I play a lot of ambient rock that requires a speaker that allows the highs to sing instead of squeal. Currently playing a Gibson SG standard with Alternative 8 in the bridge so it has plenty of beef in the guitar itself. Just need a speaker recommendation to help the guitar sound like it should. I was thinking either the Vintage 30 or Creambacks. But Im open to any and all opinions

Re: Speaker Replacement for Marshall DSL40c

Mine came with the creamback M65.

Ive also had the H75 and a V30 in the combo cab (I normally use a 2x12). V30 is still in mine for variety.

I would go back to the creamback M65 out of those three if I was only using the combo. but I think the perfect celestion would be the heritage 12-65. Thats what I would do, if I was going to try another speaker in the combo.

I appreciate it man I might just run with the heritage then. If it doesnt work out I guess I could buy a 2x12 and test things out.
