wixedmords New member Feb 17, 2007 #2 Re: speaker wattage question 1st question - Yes. 2nd question - Same As an example, a 50 watt head into a 2x12 must have speakers that can handle at least half of the heads output, or 25 watts. A 100 watter into a 2x12 would need to have each speaker be 50 watts or better.
