Speakers, which should I use??

I am ordering my Avatar vintage style 2x12 this weekend and I am just curious which speakers I should use. I am partial to the vintage 30's, but I am wondering if I should choose an alternate for one of the speakers and give it a slightly different sound?? I play a Peavey XXX and play very modern rock stuff. (theory of a deadman, Hoobastank, etc) Nothing really scooped and I never usially crank my amp up too hard.

I was debating between a V30 and a G75T, but those may be TOO different??

Or maybe load them up with a Hellatone??

Any suggestions?

I dont like the idea of V30's with an amp seting where the mids areent scooped. With scooped mids, they can sound very creamy . I would balance that one V30 out with something Like a Cannibis Rex or a G12h30.

I run a 5150 with a marshall 1960 with 4 of Avatar Hellatone 60's aka V30's with bigger bottom end, so I'm told, and they SCREAM. My 5150 doesn't sound like a 5150 with that cab.

If you're not trying to change your tone, or want to but you're not sure with what you want to change, I'd advise just keeping what you're used to. V30's are great speakers.

I have two Hellatone 60's (a.k.a. V30s) in my Marshall 1936 and I dig it a lot. I've been considering mixing it with a G12T75 for a different sound, but the V30s sound great to me.

I have 2 Avatar 2/12's 1 with 75's and 1 with Vin 30's. The 75 cab has a LOT of CHUNK and is quite thick sounding. The Vin 30 cab is more middy and better ballanced but has less on both the top and bottom. With a XXX I personally would go with the Vin 30/H30 combo. I absolutely would go with a closed back cab with that amp!!
It's too bad Avatar doesn't offer the WGS Veteran 30's as an option as I just dropped a Veteran 30 in my Prosonic combo and it flat out KILLS!! IMO these will flat bury the Celestian Vin 30's badly!!!! I will never buy a set of new Celestians again after seeing and hearing these things!!
