i am about to rewire my strat, and i want to have two singles, and then a hot-rails in the bridge position.

but what i am wondering is:

can i have it set up so that in position 4, one coil of the hotrails is in parallel with the middle pickup (or neck, even), and then position 5 is the hotrails in normal mode?

Typically, position 1 is the pup nearest the bridge (hotrails).

No biggy, just saying.
