Spin-a-Split HSH - Full Humbucker halfway, no signal past that

Hi everyone,
I'm putting together an HSH Strat with 1 master volume (500k), 1 master tone(500k), 1 dual gang spin a split(100k).

I used the following diagram to get me there except I'm using a 5-way switch: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7440801/Guitar%20Wiring/StratHHSpinASplits.jpg

The issue I'm having is that multimeter readings on my neck humbucker starts off at 11ish, goes full humbucker (19ish) halfway, and no reading past halfway. The neck humbucker is showing readings as expected.

Any ideas about what the issue could be?

Here are some picks of the wiring:

What do you mean half way? Volume half way? Switch half way?

You may have wired the switch incorrectly seeing as how the diagram is meant for a 3-way switch. It's very easy to get confused when wiring up a 5 way with a 3 way diagram because it's so easy to mess up the mapping between the 5 way and the 3 way.

When you say no reading do you mean 1 or 0?

Thanks for the replies! Yep I mean a 1 (0.L in my case).
By halfway I mean halfway turning the spin-a-split pot. I'll double check the switch. Currently from left to right in the pic it's the black wire from the bridge humbucker, the yellow from the single cool, black from the neck with the ground coming from the spin a split like in the diagram, then the red is going to the volume pot. I'm getting expected readings from the other pickups.

Sounds (and looks) like you have a blend pot instead of a regular dual gang pot.

Using a 5-way shouldn't change the fundamental hookup. Red/White, (or whatever the "center" wires on your pup are), should go to the center lugs on the pots. Then the other lug should go to ground, (any ground), for the bridge pup. The other lug of the neck pup should go to wherever you soldered the neck pup hot lead.

Hadn't thought of that. Does the pot have a detent when in the center?

Thanks guys!

I'm using the following component for the spin a split:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0169OP0XW/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apip_XxGntmGVs3pVB

I've wired it like Artie mentioned. Red and white to the center lugs, bridge lug grounded at the same pot, and neck lug wired at the hot lead for the neck on the switch.

Readings for the neck humbucker read 3.94 at 0 and 7.4 at 10 which is what I expected to see. Bridge however is another story.

Realized the link was broken. It should be fixed now.

Thanks guys!

This issue giving you an aneurysm yet?

Re: Spin-a-Split HSH - Full Humbucker halfway, no signal past that

Looks like I wasn't taking the readings correctly! I hooked up a jack and tested the settings with a good ole screw driver against the poles. It looks to be working as expected!

Thanks again everyone for your help on this!
