Spin-a-split wiring issue

Hi guys! I've a Warmoth Telecaster that I'm looking to hook up a spin split for the bridge pickup. The pickup is custom made by Q Pickups and it is tapped (two different outputs, like SSL-5T). I was able to get it work momentarily, but after changing pot into a new one I got about 5% output when pickup is split with a pot. It now works sorta like volume pot for that pickup. I used wiring diagram that I found from Duncan site so I think the problem is in my wiring. I always use star grounding and know how to solder properly. I've tried different ways to wire the pickup into pot without any luck. Currently I'm using 500k push/pull audio pot to do spin a split and push/pull add neck switch. Any ideas?

Re: Spin-a-split wiring issue

You have to use smaller value pots for spin a splits to have any kind of taper. I recommend 25k or 50k. Also, you must no load them to have full bucker on 10. 250k or 500k doesnt do anything until 1 or 2.
