I thought I'd post this quick video. Alot of people ask if the Splawn has enough gain ,, ha ha,, yeah it does. Excuse the slop, this was 2nd set 5 shots and 5 beers in,, LOL.

Daaaay-um!!

Great chops, nice guitar, and righteous tone!

Personally, I think the nu/new-metallers out there will be adding OD or distortion to the amp, even tho I've been playing my QR with straight amp gain, as well!

Nicely cut video, I might add ... :)

Awesome clip Craig...great chops and tone as Ben said!

The numetal kids should just stick to Marshall MGs and a DOD distortion box with the scoopy insane gain they use... Why pay $2000 for $hit tone when ya can have it for $300? :D

honestly I can't speak for the NU-Metal kids, but IMO, if you need more gain than that, you need to buy a metronome not a distortion pedal. ..and Practice. :)

NICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! splawns rock love the tone and if i wasn't happy with my roccaforte i would have a quick rod parked on top of my marshall 1960B cab ! great playing craig

Hey now, I wore the converse Chuck Taylors that night,, ha ha. But about 50% of the time I wear my Vans,, no spandex! I'm much too large of an animal to squeeze into anything that tight!

Sure, I didn't realize people would want some more, but sure, I got gigs all month. I'll try to get some better ones and post them. The amp sounds great... I'll shoot for some rhtyhm clips too.

Great tone man, if I ever decide to buy another amp, I'm sure its gonna be a Splawn QR, sweet 80s hair band metal tone.
