Anyone who is expert in splitting single size humbucker?

I can split with my tone pot (i dont use tone pot) or with push/pull pot (i can buy that) which one is better?

Does anyone has a diagram for telecaster wiring.. with one single size humbucker (bridge) and one single coil (neck) and single size humbucker in bridge position should be splitted either with tone pot or with push/pull pot?

I tried tonite to split with tone pot.. it happened but i had 2 problems..

1- When i split the bridge.. my second switch and third switch doesnt have a meaning. (i think i have wiring problem)

2-When i split the bridge.. the neck pickup is also being effected of that action (i think again thats a wiring problem)

Anyone who has idea? or wiring diagram?

You can split with a tone pot or a push pull pot. If you are going to split with the tone pot you must remove the capacitor and ground one of the outer terminals to the chassis of the pot. Connect the red/white wires to the center terminal of the tone pot.

I don't have a schematic for that wiring.

Something to consider when adding/removing...
The load of the potentiometer has to be taken into account...
If you split using a spin-a-split you will retain the load that was there when the tone was hooked up.
If you disconnect the tone and replace the pot with a switch the guitar will sound slightly brighter because you have removed the load of the tone potentiometer from the circuit.

Jb Jr sounds great when splitted and makes a good combination with STR-1..Vintage Tele Neck..

I have some doubts about my pots also; i think i should change them after my non-ending ironing attacks.. :)

If you consider pot splitting and a JB Jr bridge and STR-1 neck what would be your choice of potis? 250K ? 500K?

now i have 500K and no caps..
