I have a set of Squier Affinity Jazz V pickups, these are the same size as standard MIA and MIM Jazz V pickups, would drop right into any of these basses.
Bridge pup is 4.2" wide
Neck pup is 3.9" wide
They have about 8" or so of leads, never been cut.
Pole pieces spaced for 18-19mm string spacing.
They are single coils, ceramic magnets, chromed pole pieces. These pickups are actually, surprisingly very well voiced. They have a bit of a modern Jazz tone to them, while still retaining that classic Jazz sound. I guess that's what the ceramic magnets will do. Compared to the Duncan 67/70 Jazz pickups, these sound a bit more "in your face" where the Duncan's alnico magnets are much warmer and fuller sounding. I know someone who put these in his MIA Deluxe Jazz V, and he preferred these over the ones his bass came with.
For a set of pickups to try, you can't go wrong...not Like a $120 set that you'll regret buying for 3 weeks...
bringing me to ...
asking $40 shipped.
I take paypal.
I'm new here on the Duncan site, but I've been on Talk-Bass for a while (under the same name) with 100% feedback, and my user name is tappetpusher on ebay, also 100% feedback.
