Squier Strat 1993 MIK

I want to put a JB in the bridge position... with a 250k pot

should I put a JB (full size) or JB Jr? I know there are tonal differences between the 2...

specs:
Ash Body
Maple neck with walnut stripe
rosewood board

rig:
Marshall JCM800
Custom 2x12 with eminences, open back
custom OD

sound I am looking for:
I have never really cared for single coil bridge pickups (unless stacked) and I want a little more output out of the bridge I am deciding on the JB but not sure whether to go full size or the JR model...

I just want a classic rock sound, the most "hard" stuff I want to do is like sabbath.

Don't pussy about. Get the full size JB. Stick with a 250k volume pot for now. Consider upgrading it to a Bourns or a DiMarzio Pro Parts. Alter the selector switch wiring so that the bridge position pickup gets a tone control. (Just add a short jumper wire from the middle PU tone control terminal to the unused one.)
