So, what in the middle? I have it narrowed down to the Quarter Pound variety, but do I go Staggered or Flat? I have a predisposition towards the Flat, because it looks cooler, but what tonally sounds better?
Re: Squire Strat, with HSH, SHR-1 at B, SCR-1 at neck...
The pole pieces are staggered to line up with the strings better...staggered pups will sense the vibration better on the strings that the staggers reach towrad...you feeling me?
So flat would be for more emphasis on the bass side, I'd think. But don't take my word heh i'd just try one and if I didn't like it, use the return policy...you've got a month to decide bro.
