What bridge position are you using?
I am a big fan of the SD Twangbanger bridge/treble pickup. It happens to be in the wrong relationship to an RP/RW centre pickup. On new installations, I fit Twangbanger, SSL, SSL RP/RW to keep the correct noise-cancelling relationships.

Combining a self-noise-cancelling, dual coil pickup such as the Duckbucker with a regular single coil involves three coils. This sets up imbalances of noise-cancellation and the degree of notch filtering. In plain English, there will still be some hum and the "quack" won't sound quite right.
