That being said, APS-1 in the neck is an awesome smoky blues tone, SSL-1 mid is a spanky Blues tone and the combo is a really cool, complex mid tone.

The neck pickup alone is what I use most on a Strat so I'd want the SSL there. I rarely use the middle by itself so I'd use the APS there. Truth be told, I wouldn't use the APS. It's a fine pickup but I'd go neck and middle Surfers or if I were on a budget two SSLs. I like the Fralin SP43 for my bridge pickup on a Strat.

Would've gone the Antiquity route but they kicked up the price recently and I figured it was a sign to go with the SSL's. Thanks!
