ssl-6 rw/rp in neck?

I was thinking about putting the SSL-6 in the neck position of my strat. What is rw/rp for? I never bought a single coil pick up before and only have experience in humbuckers . Is the rw/rp for middle position? What one do I put in the neck?

The SSL-6 is a pretty good neck pickup if you like a hot neck tone.
I would not normally use the RW/RP in the neck as the reason you use a reverse wound reverse polarity pickup is hum canceling when it is used with a standard wound pickup. If you have a standard wound neck and bridge single coil and a RW/RP center single coil when it is used together with the neck or bridge pickup in pos 2 and 4 of your 5 way the guitar becomes becomes Humbucking.
