SSS Strat, need single sized 'bucker in bridge. Aiming for Les Paul-ish territory.

^Title.

I want something that's medium-ish output, not terribly scooped, I like my mids. But not a silly amount of mids either. A fairly neutral pickup. Mainly because my strat has a mid boost circuit in it.

Cool rails (Bridge)? Little 59? Other?

Thanks!

I would try Little 59, if I was in you.

what are the neck and middle pups? 250k pots? what mid boost?

without knowing any of that my thought is lil 59 neck in the bridge position. im assuming the singles are kinda vintagey and you have 250k pots

They are Fender noiseless singles, and I'm assuming 250k pots. mid boost from inbuilt V6 preamp. It's a Roadhouse Strat.

I'm worried that the Little 59 will be FAR too scooped like its big brother.

the lil 59 doesnt sound all that much like the 59. it has a good amount of mids and some people think its too dark with 250k pots which is why i mention the neck version. i have no experience with the v6 so not sure how that alters things

The Lil 59 bridge has a little treble bite to it- still makes a Strat sound close to a Gibson. The Lil 59 neck for the bridge position is a good suggestion.
