Stacked strat p.u.'s: classic vs. hot

Hello,
I am looking to load my strat with stacked humbuckers (for quietness), and I'm trying to decide between the STK-S1 Classic Stack or the STK-S2 Hot Stack for the bridge position. I'm playing blues/loud country rock and heavier.
I went to the specs page and the two p.u.'s have almost the same specs. Is there much of a difference? Is the hot significantly hotter? I would prefer the classic look over the blade as long as I'm not left with my pants down come solo time.
To simplify: If the difference in output is minimal, I would like to go with the classic.

PS: I didn't hear much difference on the listening page, but thats a hard call with that "dirty sound".

Hi, I have an SSL3 'hot' pickup and I have a STK-S2 Hot Stack. The SSL3 is a hi output vintage sounding pu which has a great push at 7 - I often leave at 7 as it cuts thru like a knife and gives you more than enough sustain ( I play hard rock... not Nu-Metal). If I roll up to 10 then I get an exta wall of harmonies and saturation for free... This is not a hum-free pu but who cares? It never gets noisy by me anyway... The Hot stack is a different animal - the Hot Stack pu is slightly more punchy than a standard Strat pu - it is rated as a medium output and comes no-where near the level of the SSL3 (which equals a moderate humbucker) - this one is more softer players who think that Dire Straits is hard rock... they obviously want more ambient sounds which they get that too - two horses for different courses... Your choice.

the hot stack has a little more mids and a touch more output than the classic stack. the hot does give you a little better lead tone but i like the classic
