Can we hear it?

How high are your pickups? I know it sounds dumb...

also, is it ONLY when using amplitube or when you use a real amp as well? You could be clipping the input as well.

I have never uploaded content. so dont know where to start.

I dont know about pickups. i have the stock ones on. for 3 years

i dont have an amp. been using amp sims since forever. i wish i could buy a real amp. but to expensive.

Pickguards pick up static, and this is static discharge while your hand rubs on it. Common problem. Rub a dryer sheet on the pickguard, this will minimize it for a little while.

nope it doesnt have one. my guitar is an Ibanez grg121dx

Still can happen with some finishes as well. Unless you have a wiring issue, but that needs to be evaluated by someone that know what they're doing.

Re: static crackling noise when I palm mute

thanks maybe it is a wiring issue. ill take it in and maybe swap pickups.
