Steinberger gearless tuners on a 2019 Gibson Les Paul tribute?

Does anyone know the peg hole diameter for the current Gibson Les Paul tribute? I want to replace the tuners with the steinberger gearless tuners which are 10mm diameter which is fairly standard but I'm unsure of what the peg hole diameter is for this guitar, anyone here have anything they think would be helpful?

Measure before you order! Ha ha. :D

My 17 tribute was standard sized holes, I put locking Grovers in it no issues.

My 14 LPJ was the same as that

My 18 BFG was NOT std however and I ended up being impatient and drilling my headstock with a cordless drill! Amazingly I didn't destroy anything and got the locking Grovers to work!
I do NOT advise doing it that way whatsoever!

Yep, great tuners. Have them on both my Firebirds.
I think the reason they aren't more popular is simply that people are accustomed to seeing tuner buttons sticking out.

They fit standard size holes and should be okay on any recent Gibson.
But IMO you're wise to make sure for your specific model.

I think a big reason they're not more popular is the cost...2-3 times what a "normal" good quality set would cost. But they do seem to be great tuners. I'm going to try a set one of these days.

They sell them on the Gibson website for$100 and from what I can gather they are a form of locking tuner so when you look at it like that they're not that bad. They cost less than the locking kluson's I'm replacing. I don't mind paying 100 dollars for a good set of locking tuners.

I did the same thing on my Kauer Banshees, the lighter weight fixed any neck dive issues, too. They really should come stock on any Firebird style guitar.

Glad the price has come way down now - coupla years ago they were going for around $250 a set.
$100 is not at all unreasonable compared to many premium locking types.
