Stewart-MacDonald Strat

Anyone ever made a complete StewMac strat, body and neck?

Is it any good? How's the neck?

I've been thinking about it for a while, but I don't want to end up with something worst than a Squier for all the trouble. Their pretty cheap, it's actually scarry.

Thanks in advance!

Yes! I love mine. The body and neck, from what I understand, were made in Canada.

Quality woods and beautiful finish. I'm very, very pleased with how mine turned out...I play it everyday.

Well, that's what I was hoping to hear... and coming for you Lew, it's even more encouraging. At this price, I'll make an H-H to replace my Ibanez, and an H-S-S for blues around my birthday in May.

Ah Canada! What a great country :)

All joking aside, I'm not really surprised because we have millions of acres of forest and LOTS of wood up here. That could explain the lower price and quality.

Thanks!
