If they are the same prices as every other dealer, it doesn't affect anyone negatively IMO.
I don't use Stew-Mac unless necessary, because their "whole thing" is kind of cookie cutter/McDonalds-like to me (coincidentally almost the same name), and their shipping prices are nuts. So FWIW, I won't be buying any Duncans there. I buy most of my Duncans and DiMarzios from Sweetwater.
I like some of their pickguard materials, which seem made just for them. The .083" white single ply is great (right thickness for '59–'63 Tele guards, which I can't find anywhere else), and the .106" (or is it .104"?) W/B/W is a great material, also only available there AFAICT. Right thickness for wide-bevel '60s-style W/B/W (circa '65–'67) Fender guards.
