Does anyone know anything about those stewmac acoustic guitar kits? Are they actually as good as they say? Being a complete novice at acoustic guitar building, is it worth my time to purchase a kit or am I better off just buying the typical pre-fab acoustic? Also, what acoustic line out there gets you the best for your money without breaking your wallet?

Not sure about the kits but, the best bang for the buck acoustics have to be Blue Ridge acoustics IMO! They are KILLER in the tone, cosmetics, and playability dept, out of the box! I have actually have never played one I thought was bad!

I don't think you should get a kit unless you have serious wood-working skills. You'd be wasting your money.
