Stiletto Owners - Best Tubes?

This question goes out to all the Stiletto owners in the house. Which pre and power tubes do you favor in your Series 1 Deuce's or Trident's? I have read several times that the stock Mesa tubes do not do this amp justice and I would like to know which ones will bring my beast alive.

This is the email for a good friend known as Tube Tramp on several amp forums. In my opinion he has the best sense of voicing an amp that I have ever come across. His endless advice led me to the 16 amps I have now and the choice of tubes I use. What is cool about him is that he is not a dealer tied to any manufacturer, he simply sources the best sounding, reliable tubes at the best prices.... I have known Terry for nearly 4 yrs, been the best 'teacher' I have ever had in terms of sonics... I think he could really get that amp singing, the one thing I have learned is that you need to select tubes based on your tonal wants as a player, that is where Terry can be a huge help. You tell him your needs sonically and he will come up with a selection that will make your tone better.... I get no money or any other perk for telling folks about TT. He just happens to be a friend that IMO has the best tubes, service and prices on the net.
