STK-S7 and Antiquity Surfer

hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with the wiring on my Strat.

I have an HSS Strat with a 59 HB in the bridge, and antiquity surfers in the middle and neck. I wanted to try out the STK-S7 in the neck position, and for the life of me cant seem to figure out the wiring. I've tried the white lead being the main hot signal, but that leads to an out of phase tone in the Neck/Middle position, I then tried the red lead which lead to the same sound, and then tried wiring the red and white together like you would on a traditional 4 conductor HB. after this I'm a little lost on what to do or to try. I looked at all the wiring diagrams and could find a straight forward HSS diagram with a stack in the neck, single in the middle, and HB in the bridge.

Thanks

You might have a reverse wound / reverse polarity surfer in the middle. (Common if you bought it as a set.). Though I'm surprised it didn't interact with the 59 in a noticeable way (unless it was wired to auto-split and correct the polarity at the same time?)

I would wire the stack as normal, white-hot, red taped off, black (and bare?) to ground, then swap the hot and ground of the middle surfer, first.

Otherwise, you could wire the stack black-hot, red taped off, white (and bare?) to ground, to reverse it's polarity with the middle surfer.

I think the Antiquity set is wound in the regular Fender polarity. Maybe you should check the wiring of the 59 pickup in the bridge. It's possible the '59 was installed 'out of phase' so I think its worth checking the wiring for the humbucker. You will need the bridge pickup in the standard connection polarity if you want it to work with the Duncan stack plus.

I am not sure if the Surfers are in phase with Fenders- I think it is the Texas Hots that are in phase with Fenders. But the middle Surfer is rw/rp. Confusing.
