Straps!

Guitar straps from Original Fuzz are a major discovery for me. I love nice straps - and these are the coolest ones I've found yet. They make less expensive (but very nicely done) seatbelt and canvas straps, but their Collections are where the really nice stuff resides. These straps are made in Nashville from hand made fabrics from Peru, India and also domestically made. The artisans are paid by Fair Trade guidelines - no child labor and no mass production here. I started out with one strap and when it arrived I was so impressed I ordered a couple more - which have yet to arrive. Here are some Photoshop composites of the straps I have coming on my guitars:

Re: Straps!

Those look nice. I used plain jane Ernie Ball straps for the first few years I played, then stuck with the same plain black leather for about the last 20 years. For Christmas this year, we ordered my dad a custom mandolin strap from Dogwood Designs. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Dave. He spent a good deal of time on the phone with me, recommended some designs, then made and shipped the strap in less than a week. Great service, great product, great prices. I'm going to order a guitar strap from him sometime.
