Strat and gold foils? Or leave the gold foils with the crappy axe?

Sooooo...i have a teisco junkyard guitar with gold foils. Guitar plays terribly. Buzzing everywhere on the fretboard. Odd shortscale that i never got used to. Just got the pups rewound by bullock guitars and i wanna make the best outta them.
I ALSO have this strat copy thing with decent sounding strat pickups..a little bright. But its a strat....it plays great.
Should i combine the two and make my frankenstrat the rightful owner of these sweet gold foils?
But who am i to take apart this teisco guitar that lasted 50 yrs..all in one piece?
I dunno..im stuck. The red teisco thing works for certain garagey/bluesy riffs. Feels a bit toy-ish....but i have a soft spot for it and its funky junky look.

What would u do?

Give it a good coating of AXE body spray
And see if he's still there in the morning?

I'd keep the short scale as is. It's like my holiday - great when the mood strikes and a true piece of history.

You should do a Tele style build and use those pickups!

Those Gold Foils go for stupid $ on the bay. Try selling them, you may be able to get enough for them to get something else. And if you like your Strat the way it is, leave it alone and mod something else. I've modded too many guitars and ended up liking it "the other way" better.

People collect those Teisco's these days (there's no accounting for taste)...I'd leave it as is.
