Of course, without being too bragadocious, if you know me, I only have the very best parts on my guitars; the best bodies, necks, tuners, bridges, pickups, etc.. Well, I've now changed out every single one of my Strat and Teles neckplates. I just couldn't stand those horrible cheap neck plates like that come on new Fenders and such... that bend and everything.

Well, here's one I just bought today for my Tele;
its a Titanium neck plate , and its just 24 grams.!;

I've got a couple of Callaham neck plates on Strats, which are Cold Rolled steel, and then I got one form this seller on ebay from Turkey tahst solid steel and very nice middlweight, and Ive also got this one massive stainless steel solid steel 96 gram neck plate for my Mahogany Strat. ( even Superman couldn't bend this one!);

Now Ive got a bag fiull of Junky neck plates, that can be sold for scrap and smelted down for a good use like guns or something..don't ask me for them, I couldn't in good consience even give them away!)!

Re: Strat and Tele Neck Plates

Has the SuperLead been unearthed?

Well, the stars haven't aligned yet, maybe one day they will..who cares?..I'll die with the best stuff.
And Leo made the original neck plates with cold rolled steel lile as does Callaham now.
