Strat bridge, PG Plus or ? to go with Texas Specials

Hey guys I'm looking for some suggestions on a bridge pup that will play nice with Texas Specials in the mid and neck spots. It's a regular American Standard strat, alder body, rosewood fretboard.

I love the Texas Specials in the middle and neck spots for blues but am not into the twangy bridge sound. I'm looking for something that handle heavier stuff, has a good palm muted chug, and good harmonics, but cleans up well with volume control.
I play stuff from classic rock, to Tool, RATM, Nirvana, STP, Marilyn Manson, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Lamb of God, etc.

My friend has an HSS with a Pearly Gates Plus that sounds really nice and seems to handle this range pretty well but I'm wondering how the regular Pearly Gates would compare?
Also what about a Little PG, Little JB, Hot Rails, or Screamin Demon?

I don't want a pickup that's going to be a huge volume boost from the Texas Specials when switching to it, and I don't need to split the coil so a single bucker would work if it has the attributes I'm looking for.

I´ve had a great time with a duncan 59 full sized humbucker in the bridge along side a couple of dimarzio area 58 for the middle and neck. All installed on my 93 fender strat plus.

The 59 mixes very well in ash with maple fretboard guitars. Yours being an alder and rosewood, i figure it would make a little bass heavier and most excelent sounding.
Coil split sounded kinda tele like.

500 k volume and tone pots.

The JBjr or Hotrail may get the tone you're after. The Lil 59 should balance well, maybe too well. Can't speak for the other models you mentioned.

You'd expect less chug from PG than PG+. I'd say '59/Custom hybrid with 250k pots.

The hybrid is nice, but it may be a little too bright. I would think a Custom 5 would be a better choice for you.

I like the regular Pearly Gates. The C5 is a good pickup in the right guitar, but it is so scooped, and has such exaggerated high and low end, that there might be quite a shocking difference between that and the Texas Specials. Just remember SD pickups and Fender's are wired out of phase with each other.

i prefer the regular pearly gates over the pg+. i think it works well with single coils and 250k pots
