Strat Build.....Alder/Maple/Pau Ferro

Here's another project I embarked on earlier this year.


I used reranch nitro lacquer.

It's going to be a stage guitar, so I'm didn't
go for a perfect factory finish.

Specs are:

-Alder body

-Maple/Pau Ferro neck (1.75" nut)

-German OFR (top/flush mounted)

-Custom/59 Hybrid bridge (replacing)

-P90 neck


So far:

Nice job on the body. Should be a killer axe. I just got my Strat build up and running last night.

Well I ended up changing the layout of this thing.

Decided I had enough HB and P90 guitars and didn't have a traditional strat, so I got me a loaded Fender pickguard with the Jimmie Vaughan Tex-Mex pickups.

Here's a crappy pic....I'll take some more later.

Killer. I've always been a fan of the tuxedo pickguard.
