Re: STRAT BUILD - FInally Finished!!!!

all up it cost just under $1200AUS...i could have paid a bit more and gotten a real fender, but i just could find a stock one that i liked/right spec until i was looking at the $3000+AUS models.

after a proper setup i think she may be my new favourite.
heres a pic of the family -

Congrats, bro! It looks terrific. I'm very impressed anytime someone puts together something that looks this professional. I need to get up the courage to do something like this someday soon.

its in the works mate...she is defnitely a keeper. when my marshall died for the 3rd time i was going to buy a 5150...but she was the one that suggested i spend the extra on a Framus Cobra (her reasoning was that i would still want the cobra after i got the 5150 so i might as well just get it over and done with and buy it now)
she was a bit upset that i didnt include her guitars in the family shot haha

i no longer playi n a band anymore so the framus is a bit of an overkill...i i sold that (or one of my guitars) to buy a wedding ring...i think that would mean a lot to her.

funny a little metal ring plus rock can cost the same(if not more) than a huge ass amp with lots of knobs, tubes, lights etc..

I'm printing this out to show my wife. :)

Yup, I never understood the appeal of jewelry. Of course, the most important thing is that she knows you're thinking of her.

Congrats, bro! (on the guitar and the pending engagement)
