Strat neck Pickup in a tele

well I ditched the vintage stack and I was going to go Dual lil 59's in the tele. But I like the hot stack so I think I am going to go Dual Hotstack. Will strat neck Pickups fit in the tele space. Not to worried about the pickguard but my tele is only routed for single coil.

If its routed like a 50's tele, then you will need to open up the neck pickup cavity a bit. Nothing terrible, but you will have to break out the dremel.

yea-- try the 5-2Nashville tele neck--
i'VE TRIED THE sTRAT size in Teles and the best so far out of 50 swaps has been the 5-2 Nashville Tele size neck!

If you're routing anyway, I 'm partial to the SM-1 Firebird style mini in a tele. I have one in an ash 50's style Fernandez paired with a JD Lead and it's great for anything you'd use a tele for.
