strat plus output...matching with humbucker...

Hey folks,

I was curious to know what you guys think of the output of the strat plus pickups. I am thinking about using 2 with a yet undetermined humbucker for an HSS config...and I was going to split the middle pup so that in position 4, it would be quiet.

Do you guys have any humbucker recommendations that would match with the strat plus pups? I want the humbucker to match fairly well with the strat plus's, volume wise...but I also want a good notch position #4 as well...I'm probably going to have to compromise a little to get that, but that's ok.

Thanks for any help...

Outpuut wise I´d think you´ll be quite limited to the general range of 59/ seth/ a2p, because the Stack plus is from what I gather in no way a high output pickup....

But I´m sure others that have actually tried a set can give better info....

Alternative would be the JB- Unless you have a really bright guitar-

It splits incredibly well and hard to beat in the bridge hum position for me-

The JB and Customs hopelessly overpower classic style single coils, you need at least something like an ssl-3 or a Hot stack to match up there IMO

Shoot, even my Lil PG overpowers the APS-2's in the neck and mid. Definately look into the 59 or even the Jazz to match well with those singles.
