Slider New member Nov 13, 2006 #1 Hey guys... In the process of rewiring strat Stack + neck Stack + middle Lil 59 bridge Am I better off to make Tone1 for neck only or neck and middle. As I want T2 for bridge That being said, would you put a capacitor on both tone or just one?

Artie Peaveyologist Nov 13, 2006 #2 Re: Strat Rewire There's no "rule" for this. Its just a matter of personal preference. If it was me, I'd use 1 tone for neck and middle, and one for the bridge. I'd use one cap. btw - Actually, I'd just use one master tone, but if you must use two, I'd do as above.

S Skarekrough Guest Nov 13, 2006 #3 Re: Strat Rewire I prefer to use one tone knob for the neck and the bridge. If you're doing standard wiring then there's no point in time that you will need tone controls for both the bridge and neck simultaneously.

The guitar is currently setup with a push/pull pot on the volume knob to turn the bridge on at anytime.
