Strat Rewire

Hey guys...

In the process of rewiring strat

Stack + neck
Stack + middle
Lil 59 bridge

Am I better off to make Tone1 for neck only or neck and middle.

As I want T2 for bridge

That being said, would you put a capacitor on both tone or just one?

Re: Strat Rewire

There's no "rule" for this. Its just a matter of personal preference. If it was me, I'd use 1 tone for neck and middle, and one for the bridge. I'd use one cap.

btw - Actually, I'd just use one master tone, but if you must use two, I'd do as above. ;)

Re: Strat Rewire

I prefer to use one tone knob for the neck and the bridge.

If you're doing standard wiring then there's no point in time that you will need tone controls for both the bridge and neck simultaneously.

The guitar is currently setup with a push/pull pot on the volume knob to turn the bridge on at anytime.
