Do you mean the latest Fender Player Series from Mexico? It was just released two years ago, I’m sure nothing has changed in that time. Or do you mean inclusive of the Standard series it replaced?

I was not aware the player series replaced the standard series. Is the standard series MIM too? If yes, those specs are what I am searching for

MIM Standard Series => Player Series
American Series => American Standard => Professional Series
Plus series => American Deluxe => Elite Series
Basically each line has gone through name changes and some specs changes.
As far as I recall, the MIM Standard line got some upgrades like gloss painted front headstocks and fingerboards (maple) around 2008. Thats also when they went from the Silver bold logo to the black 70's style logo. Then in 2017 when they changed to the Player Series they got new pickups, similar style bridges that used to be on the American Standard line, and they went to the spaghetti logo.

A friend got a Fender Player Series Tele recently and is using it as her primary instead of her normal G&L Tele on their tours this year.
By all reports she prefers the feel and sound, so apparently they are excellent guitars.
