String spacing on Affinity Strat HH

Hi folks, I just picked up a current Affinity Strat HH and plan to upgrade the pups. I measured the string spacing and used Dimarzio's printed guide, and the neck pickup seems to be standard spaced, and the bridge is f-spaced. Is this correct, or am I messing something up? I contacted Fender, and they said they don't know, which seems bizarre.

That sounds about right I am yet to see a Gibson spaced Strat. I would suggest getting a caliper for future projects, not just for pickups but for all parts and measurements.

EDIT: I just did a quick measurement on my MIM Strat 52mm at the bridge 49mm at the neck.

sounds right to me. normal neck and f spaced bridge is what i use on all my fenders with buckers if im buying a pup. if i have a pup to use and its the wrong spacing, i just use what i have and dont worry about it.

Yeah, I measured with a caliper and got 52mm and 49mm, but I wanted to confirm since I didn't expect them to be different spacing. Now that I think about it, it makes sense since the nut is narrower than the bridge.

Gibson Les Paul has bridge pickup poles at 52mm since many years IIRC. Reissues Les Paul may still be Gibson spaced.
